Easter Parties
We held our Easter parties before Spring Break. The weather did not cooperate to hunt eggs outside, but the preschoolers still had fun hunting for eggs inside. We played some other fun games and ate great food. Thank you to the parents that helped with the parties. We had a lot of fun!

Nutrition Day
Staff from Buena Vista Regional Medical Center and Mrs. Tiefenthaler presented a Nutrition Day for the preschool and elementary students. They talked with the preschoolers on the importance of eating healthy foods, especially fruits and vegetables. We participated in an obstacle course in the gym to also keep our bodies healthy. The preschoolers loved the obstacle course and wanted to do it over and over.
A Goat Visits the Morning Class
Kacie, the TK teacher's daughter, brought her baby goat to school for the TK students to see. After the TK students saw the goat, Kacie brought him to our room too. It was fun to see the goat and get the chance to pet it. The preschoolers thought it was funny that the goat wanted to suck on Kacie's fingers. Thank you, Kacie, for sharing your goat with us.

Save the Date
We will be having our End of the Year Program for preschool and transitional kindergarten on Friday, May 20th at 7:00. We will have plenty of room so feel free to invite friends and relatives. I hope all of you will be able to make it.
Story Hour at the Library
The librarians at the Newell Public Library invited us to come to the library for a Spring Story Hour. We walked to the library to hear stories about spring and Easter. The children were very excited about the many books displayed around the library. I encourage you to visit the library to check out some of these books with your child.

All Dressed Up
April Fool's Day
The preschoolers loved April Fool's Day. They wanted it to continue for every day in April, but I can only chase spiders off my head all day for one day of the year. :) One of our preschoolers in the p.m. class fooled us at snack time. He told us he brought ice cream cones, but really they were cupcakes baked in ice cream cones. This was a very tasty April Fool's joke.
